Although this Spanish silver coin was minted in the same mint as the coins from the Atocha shipwreck, this one is not shipwreck recovered. Not all the ships sank and it actually made it back to Spain. Clear detailed images of the Lions of Leon and the Castles of Castile in the quadrants of the cross. These are the home regions of Queen Isabella of Spain. Mintmark "P" for Potosi, and the denomination are visible on the reverse. About the size of one half dollar, really makes a great statement piece. The pendant is about the size of a half dollar.
