Ancient Greek silver coin with detailed images of Alexander the Great portrayed as Hercules and Zeus seated and holding an eagle. His people deified him while he was alive hoping his leadership skills and greatness would last forever. Unfortunately, he died at the tender age of 38. They continued to mint his coin posthumously in his memory.
