This beautifully detailed Spanish Piece of 8 was recovered from a shipwreck site at Lucayan Beach, Grand Bahama Islands pre-1628. Clear strikes on obverse and reverse. Denomination "4" visible to right of shield. The pendant size is comparable to an American half dollar.
