Small oval Spanish "Piece of Eight" was recovered from the Princess Louisa which sank in the Cape Verde Islands in 1743. This small pendant has a nicely centered cross and partial date visible on the reverse side of coin. Nice heavy 14K gold bezel protects the coin.
